Artist Statment
The history of human suppression began when the concepts of time & space were invented. It is no exaggeration to say that this generation was born in the midst of a struggle to overcome and avenge our frustration, sadness, and humiliation. People are forced to live in today's world perplexed by uneasy feelings. Living with such angst is yet another form of suppression. It arose in an effort to overcome the former suppression. Human beings have created fear for themselves and are evolvings toward chaos. My works express the very suppression of an artist's spirit, forced to live in an age full of conflicts. What on earth has been going on?
